Family Violence Counselling
Family violence involves abuse that may be physical, verbal, emotional, sexual or financial. It can include violence, threats and/or controlling behaviour. It is important to know that family violence has a significant negative impact on women and children’s health and wellbeing.
Specific counselling services are available to women currently experiencing family violence, or who feel unsafe in the family home; women who are no longer in abusive relationships but who have experienced family violence; or women who are experiencing abuse from former partners. Our counsellors will assist you to feel safe and feel heard; build your confidence and self-esteem; and re-establish yourself.
Our Family Violence Services are part of the Eastern Region Family Violence Network .
