Podiatry

whcs-68.jpgThe Podiatry service provides diagnosis and treatment of foot disorders.

This includes:

  • Diabetes assessment;
  • Biomechanical assessments;
  • General treatment;
  • Wound care;
  • Paediatric assessment;
  • Nail surgery; and
  • Health education.

Can you use this service?

Podiatry is for people who have a medical condition (such as diabetes or peripheral vascular disease) that effects their feet and may result in complications.  Podiatry services are for frail older people, younger people with disabilities and others who need support to continue managing independently at home.

You need to work, live or study in the City of Whitehorse and we prioritise our services for people on low-medium incomes and holders of Health Care or Pension cards.
