Community Advisory Group
WCHS has an active Community Advisory Group (CAG) consisting of community members who partner with our management team to improve the way we plan for, deliver and evaluate the services offered to residents within and beyond the City of Whitehorse. The overall role of the CAG is to contribute to and participate in:
~ improving services
~ service delivery evaluation
~ program planning and policy development
~ research, education and training
~ staff recruitment
~ promoting the rights and responsibilities of service users
~ providing advice on the production and dissemination of health information

Can I join the Community Advisory Group?
If you have skills you want to use and enjoy discussing new ideas and being involved in making changes for the better in community health the CAG is always looking for new members. If you have time to commit to at least 2 hours a month on Thursdays 1020-1230 and you are:
- Resident of City of Whitehorse (not necessarily a rate payer)
- Ready to apply employment skills
- Ready to apply community organization skills / life skills
- Enjoy expressing a point of view and giving ideas that contribute to positive participation within the advisory group
- Reflect the cultural diversity of the City of Whitehorse
- Be able to work in a positive way with a diverse group of people
